BRAXGATA Hockey – Belgium

Braxgata HC is one of the top hockey club in Belgium, internationally known as a top spot for the growth of the young players of the Region. The actual facility hosting Braxgata HC was built in 2003, when a semi-water pitch was laid followed by other two water-based fields in 2005 and 2007.

In winter 2012, Braxgata HC training center became the biggest infrastructure for hockey in all Belgium, thanks to the investment made and the installation of a new and modern water-based system for professional hockey.

The Newgrass MF/8 Hockey installed by Limonta Sport is currently used by all the national hockey team (young categories and adults of both men and women) who regularly train in the facility to prepare International events.

International events

The Braxgata HC facility will host the national European Championship in summer 2013, and the Limonta pitch has been designed already as the main training hub for all the national teams involved in the competition.

The official FIH Certificate allows the club to use the brand new hockey pitch for world hockey level competitions, attracting not only local top teams in search of high quality turf but also International sponsors in need of a facility able to host top players from all over the world.

Since the inauguration of the pitch in early 2013, Limonta Sport and its partner received positive comments from the management of the facility, thanks to the good feedback expressed by the players who define the surface as the best in the area, due to stability of the system and the excellent quickness of the surface.
