Last week Limonta Sport reached the FIFA Quality certification for 2 pitches in Indonesia, respectively one in the country capital city, Jakarta, and one in the West Java region capital, Bandung
Both pitches have been installed in the last months of 2019 and have been completed last month, making it a great effort by both Limonta and our Indonesian distributor, Delta Prima.
The pitch in Jakarta presents a system composed by Max S yarn plus rubber and sand.
Max S is the exclusive yarn by Limonta whose special double-S shape and top-notch thickness allows the pitch to have a fantastic combination of performance and durability over time, which will be of great importance given the fact that the pitch will be used intensively. In fact, the project was financed by Jakarta Sport Department and the field will be open to public, a great investment by Jakarta municipal government in order to boost football in the city, guaranteeing everybody can play on high-quality surface.
Bandung project was similarly installed with Max S yarn, but destination of use will be different: in fact the pitch is installed next to main stadium of Persib Bandung, one of the most famous professional teams in Indonesia and currently holding first-place in Indonesian League. Thus, the field will be used both by senior team as training facility and by youth teams for games and trainings.
