Limonta Sport completed the installation of the new football pitch inside the Herat Stadium in Afghanistan. The Football turf was officially tested by a FIFA accredited institute receiving the FIFA QUALITY certification that would now allow the Afghanistan Football Federation to organize International matches at the Herat Stadium.
The new playing surface will help the Afghanistan Football Federation to widen the opportunities offered to young kids living in the Herat Province. The facility can now provide a safe and modern point of aggregation for the children while offering an high quality turf to the adults competing in the national league and regional tournaments
The implementation and construction of the football turf at the Herat Stadium is part of the FIFA GOAL PROGRAMME, a long term investment by FIFA to sustain football development all over the world.
