Limonta Sport for Viola Park – ACF Fiorentina Training Centre
After almost a year since its inauguration on 11 October 2023, we are pleased to present what is now the largest training centre for football clubs in Italy, with ten regulation pitches, two stadiums, pavilions dedicated separately to the first team, women’s team and youth teams, with an architectural layout based on efficiency and environmental sustainability.
We are talking about no less than 26 hectares to accommodate the activities of ACF Fiorentina’s 20 teams.
The centre has 10 regulation pitches, 4 of which are natural grass and 6 Limonta Sport, as well as two stadiums (one natural grass and one Limonta Sport hybrid grass).
The different teams thus have the opportunity to train on pitches dedicated to them.
In fact, the first men’s team has two training fields in VerdeMix hybrid grass – Made in Italy technology by Limonta Sport – already chosen to reinforce the turfs of the most important stadiums around the world.
The three key concepts that guided the design of the Viola Park were landscape, respect for the environment and enhancement of the context.
A state-of-the-art centre, aesthetically perfectly integrated in the beautiful location of Bagno a Ripoli – just a few kilometres from Florence.
